I was travelling,hitchhiking from Poland. My plan was to stop on Thailand and go backto Poland from there, but well, I liked China too much and I’m here almost a year already.
我从波兰开始乘车观光，原筹划是在泰国竣事然后回到波兰，但是我太喜好中国了，如今在中国已经快一年了。
My first expression about China was really weird. I wasn’t sure if I’m in China and Icouldn’t check it anyhow coz no internet. Why I wasn’t sure? I came from Kyrgyzstan and my first city in China was Kashgar, Xinjiang province. On the border between Kyrgyzstan and China you need to buy a taxi to Kashgar for 50$ and it’s a must, if you won’t buy they won’t let you go in. The taxi driver was Chinese so I thought it’s all ok. He asked me where in Kashgar I want to go out, I saidanywhere, doesn’t matter. I went out and I saw many people, but no Chinese at all. I thought I know quite good how Chinese people look like, but this is something totally different, dark skin, beards,mustaches. All the writing around are in Arabic or something similar to Arabic. I thought I went to a wrong border and I’m in some Pakistan. Also everybody looking at me; I guess not so manyforeigners visit Kashgar. I wasn’t sure if it’s safe there, especially it was night already, but I saw kids playing on streets so I thought it’s fine. I went to an ATM to take out some cash. I wasn’t sure what kind of money will go out, but then 100 RMB went out. I looked on it, well, looks like Mao, mean I’m in China –good!
我对中国的第一印象是很怪异。我都不确定我是否在中国，由于没网我无法查询。为什么我不确定？我从吉尔吉斯斯坦入境中国，进入的第一个都会是新疆的喀什。在吉尔吉斯斯坦和中国的界限，你必要付50美元的出租车费用才气到喀什，而且你不得不付，否则他们不会让你入境。出租车司机是中国人以是我就说好吧。他问我到喀什的那里下车，我说任意。下车的时间我看到许多人，但是长的一点都不像中国人，我自以为对中国人的长相有所相识，但是他们完全不一样，黝黑的皮肤，络腮胡子，茂密的髯毛。四周是用阿拉伯语或雷同于阿拉伯语的字体誊写的笔墨，我还以为我入错境了来到巴基斯坦了。同时，四周的人都把我盯着：我猜大概没有那么多的外国人去喀什。我都开始担心本身的安危了，尤其是天色已晚，但我看到有小孩在街上玩的时间，我就轻微放心了。我去了ATM取现金，我不知道会出来什么样的纸币，然后出来了100金额的纸币，我细致一看，是毛，阐明我是在中国-太好了！
Next thing that surprised me was police. Police was totally Chinese, not Xinjiang people and when they saw me they came to talk. I wanted to run at first and let me explain why: before I was in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, where police is really bad. If they stop you then it’s only to take some money from you. But when the Chinese police stopped me, then took a photo with me and then asked (using translator) if I need some help. I said I don’t need, it’s ok.
接下来让我惊奇的是警员。警员完满是我印象中中国人而不是新疆人的长相，当他们瞥见我预备走过来和我语言的时间，我原来是想逃跑的，让我表明下为什么：我之前在哈萨克斯坦和吉尔吉斯斯坦的时间，警员非常不友爱。假如他们让你停下，只是为了从你身上赚点外快。但是当中国警员拦下我时，他们只是过来和我合影，并(借助翻译器)问我是否必要资助，我说不消，没事。
Well, at first in China I felt lonely. Hitchhiking is very easy here, but nobody could speak any language I speak. In countries I was before everybody speak Russian and my Russian is quite good, so China was the first place where I couldn’t even explain what I want, and many people have no idea what hitchhiking is. I couldn’t also talk to my friends and family because Facebook is blocked. Before I found out what VPN is It took some days. But well, many countries are like; first you like them, but then you see bad things in it. China for me is totally opposite; more I’m here more I like it. At first wasn’t easy, especially in Xinjiang. Other parts of China all important writingsare usually in both Chinese and English. In Xinjiang it’s all in Chinese and Xinjiang language – no English at all. So for example the way I was using buses. I was looking at a map to get know whatdirection I have to go, e.g. north-east. Then I was taking compass, going to any bus and untill it goes north-east, I’m in it. If it goes different direction, I go out. My first Chinese card with a mobile internet I bought in Gansu province, because in XinJIiang I couldn’t do this without Chinese ID. When I had the internet travelling and then living here became much easier and now I’m really happy here.
然而，一开始在中国我感觉很孤单，只管很轻易在这里乘车观光，但是没有人会说英语，我之前到的国家各人都会说俄语，我俄语还不错。以是中国是第一个我无法表达我的意思的地方，很多人乃至都不知道什么是乘车观光。我也不能和我的朋侪家人接洽，由于Facebook被禁了。在我知道VPN之前，我和他们失联了一段时间。但是许多国家是：一开始你很喜好，随后你发现许多缺点。中国恰好相反，呆的时间越长，我越喜好。一开始没有那么顺遂，尤其是在新疆。在中国其他都会，大部门笔墨是中英都有。
在新疆，满是汉字和新疆话-没有英文。在去搭大巴的路上，我检察舆图想相识我走的方向，好比东北方向，然后我拿着指南针，任意上一辆大巴，假如它朝东北方向走，那我就待着，假如差别的方向，我就下车。我的第一张电话卡是在甘肃买的，在新疆我没法买由于我没有中国的身份证，有网络后我的观光变得更加便捷，衣食住行在中国也很方便，如今我住在中国很开心。 |
